1. Who we are

JobTailoring.com is operated by SE Computers Ltd, a company registered in New Zealand. Our registered address is Hamilton, New Zealand. Contact us at privacy@jobtailoring.com.

2. What information we collect

• Account information: your name, email address, and password credential (the password is stored as a one-way cryptographic hash, not readable plain text)
• Profile information: your CV, work history, skills, preferences, location, visa/work rights status, and other career information you choose to enter
• Job application content: job descriptions you paste in, and personal notes you add
• Generated documents: the tailored CVs, cover letters, evidence reports, integrity reports and interview-preparation material generated for you
• Payment information: processed by PayPal. We do not receive or store your full card details
• Usage data: pages visited, features used, and device type (via Google Analytics 4)

3. How we use your information

• To analyse vacancies and generate tailored application and interview-preparation material from the information you provide
• To save your application history so you can access past documents
• To process payments for paid plans
• To send service-related emails such as welcome, account, payment and password-reset messages
• To understand service usage and improve reliability and usability through analytics and operational logging

4. Who we share your data with

• Anthropic: relevant CV, profile, candidate-response and vacancy text is sent to Anthropic's language-model API when the service performs fit analysis, evidence analysis or document generation. Anthropic's own terms and privacy practices apply to its processing.
• Cloudflare: our hosting, database, and storage provider.
• PayPal: subscription and one-time payment processing. We exchange the identifiers and transaction details needed to create, verify and reconcile payments.
• Google Analytics 4: may receive browser, device and page-usage information when analytics scripts are allowed by your browser. Browser privacy tools or content blockers may prevent those scripts from loading.

We do not sell your data to any third party. We do not share your data with advertisers.

5. Data retention

• Profile and application history: retained while your account remains active unless you delete the account or ask us to remove information that we are not legally required to keep.
• Generated application files: stored with your application history so you can return to what you submitted. Deleting the account triggers deletion of account-linked application records and stored files through the service's account-deletion process.
• Payment and audit records: may be retained for accounting, fraud prevention, dispute handling, legal or security purposes for as long as reasonably required.
• Operational logs and analytics: retained according to the settings and retention periods of the services we use and our operational needs.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live, privacy law may give you rights to access, correct, delete or otherwise control personal information we hold about you. New Zealand users have rights under the Privacy Act 2020. Email privacy@jobtailoring.com if you want to exercise an applicable privacy right.

7. Security

We use security measures including HTTPS, one-way password hashing, authenticated sessions, access controls and restricted service credentials. No online service can guarantee absolute security.
